Do I need the Chrome extension?
Live tab capture needs the extension; saved library features work on web and mobile.
What is Agent mode in Assistant?
Agent mode turns on Trove’s built-in action agent so the Assistant can propose library actions (create tasks, save bookmarks, create/append notes), not only answer questions. With the checkbox off, the agent still runs when your message sounds like a command (or when you tap Do this for me?). With it on, every message uses the agent path. Important writes show Approve / Dismiss before they run. This is separate from MCP servers in Settings. See Assistant Agent mode.
Is Agent mode the same as MCP integrations?
No. Agent mode uses built-in Trove tools in chat. MCP servers under Settings → Profile → AI features are a separate integration path and are not yet wired into every assistant turn.
